This week's politics disad focuses on the economic stimulus package. Since big changes in the deal happened on Thursday that killed an earlier version of the DA based on which version of the stimulus would pass the DA was held back till today.
Basically all the major portions of the stimulus have been agreed upon, only minor details are still open for discussion. This disad argues that the plan breaks this fragile compromise by being controversial and introducing new spending after both sides agreed to refrain.

After spending a fair amount of time perusing caselists this season, I've noticed a trend of (what I'd describe as) teams reading the wrong advantages for their affs.
The root of this is the inability to differentiate between Linear and Terminal impacts, and choosing which are most appropriate for their particular solvency model. |

We're putting up a bunch of files this week, with a free politics file coming later in the day.

in this challenge, but some people still posted ev old enough to be my
